I was one of Mr. Lewis' accounting students at Bryant & Stratton (Albany). He made me enjoy it again. He never let you not finish anything; he pushed you to do your best. He was funny and always made us laugh. I would get done with another class and just pop in and hang out in his just to hear what he had to say. I will miss his sense of humor and personality. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Mr. Lewis was an instructor of mine at Bryant & Stratton. I was skeptical at first, but his way of teaching was brilliant (like taking virtual field trips to Walmart), and I could see that he loved molding our brains. He always had a story or way of explaining things in order for us to understand and it was always very interesting (like the useful life of malls). For someone who hated history class, I was always fond of his little tidbits of history lessons during accounting class and he was always trying to make us laugh (bc accounting class is “very boring”). I had knowledge of my passion for accounting but Mr. Lewis helped me realize that it’s something I need to pursue. I was fond of him and was looking forward to my next classes with him. My sincere condolences to the family and friends.

Very sorry to hear about Wayne's passing. He was a committed fixture at the Michigan Ave tennis courts during the summer evenings all those decades ago. A quite capable tennis player too.
His academic and professional achievements speak for themselves and underscored by his passion for teaching.
Condolences to Grace, Gregory and family.

To the friends and family of Wayne, I am so sorry for your loss.
I know that my words are not enough to comfort, but please know that you are not alone in your sorrow. May Jehovah God be the one to give your family strength and comfort to help you endure this loss. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4
May you find peace from the love and care that surrounds you and in the cherished memories that you shared. I pray your hope is renewed when you read Acts 24:15, knowing there is a future when you can be reunited with Wayne again!
